Welcome to 6 in the Morning
Hello, and welcome!
My name is Maggie, and I am known to be curious about all sorts of things. From starfruit production to rare phobias, my research rabbit trails have taken me far as a writer, student, and… well… human. I love learning about interesting and little known corners of our world because, let’s face it, with 200 million square miles, 9 billion species, 8 billion people, seven thousand languages, and endless thoughts, ideas and possibilities, there’s no way any one person could get to everything. It’s so eye-opening to imagine faraway people, places and things knowing that they’re really out there waiting for me to experience them.
Unfortunately, this rosy outlook is hard to maintain during a stressful week. Often, being a lifelong learner often takes a backseat to other, more immediate concerns. This is why I’d like to make it my mission to give you the opportunity to set aside a little time each week to learn something new. So each week, before you’re off to the daily grind, I’ll be posting a 6-item list on any one subject that strikes my particular daydreaming fancy to keep your eyes to the stars whether they’re out or not, at… you know. 6 in the morning.
Consider this your portable window to the world outside your in-tray, ready when you are to show you what’s going on out there. So pull back the curtains and come explore with me!

So proud and inspired by you. Shared with all my co-workers! You Rock!
